Credits & metered billing
unpwnd bills in credits: a metered allowance you spend as audits run, quoted before a scan starts and settled to what it actually cost.
Quoted, held, then settled
A credit is the unit audit runs are priced in. Before a scan starts, a pre-pass counts what changed and prices the run in credits — you see that quote before anything runs. The quote is held while the swarm works, then settled to what the run actually cost the moment it finishes; if it comes in under the hold, the difference is refunded automatically.
Full audits and re-audits
Connecting a new repository includes its first full audit — a complete pass over the whole codebase. Every re-audit after that only re-attacks what changed since the last run, so it costs a fraction of a full audit; a repo with no changes since the last scan skips entirely, at no cost.
A monthly allowance
The credits available each billing cycle are a monthly amount you choose, and can change. Unused credits don't roll over into the next cycle. If a cycle's allowance runs out before it renews, unpwnd offers a way to add more without changing the underlying subscription.
Exact pricing and credit amounts live on the pricing page — this page only covers how the billing mechanics work, not current figures.
